Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated July 15, 2026
This page describes the rules for using QNDB. It’s written in plain language and reflects how the product actually works today; it is not a substitute for legal advice, and we’ll formalize it further as the catalogue grows.
Your account
- You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- One account per person. Impersonating someone else, or creating an account to evade a moderation decision, isn't allowed.
- Some actions — rating, reviewing, wishlisting, reporting — require a verified email address.
Submitting titles
Creator accounts may submit films and series to the catalogue. By submitting a title, you confirm you have the right to share its details, artwork, and any media you upload, and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Every submission is reviewed before publication. We may decline or remove a title that misrepresents itself, infringes someone else’s rights, or otherwise violates these terms.
Ratings and reviews
- Reviews should reflect your own honest opinion of the title.
- Rating manipulation — coordinated voting, fake accounts, review-for-review trades — undermines the whole catalogue and isn't allowed.
- Reviews can be reported by any signed-in user and are subject to removal at our discretion.
Acceptable use
- No scraping or bulk-downloading the catalogue outside of what the site itself exposes.
- No attempting to circumvent moderation, rate limits, or access controls.
- No uploading content you don't have the rights to.
Changes
QNDB is actively developed. We may update these terms as the product changes, and we’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
